Birkebeiner

Some photos from everything except the racing part of the Birkebeiner, a 50k ski race in Wisconsin with 10,000 people. We drove 1400 miles over four days, circumnavigated Lake Michigan, ice climbed, and backcountry nordic skied along Pictured Rocks (Lake Superior). This was a fantastic long weekend and a much needed break from sedentary academic life in Ann Arbor.
